{"id":1498,"date":"2025-12-09T15:05:32","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T20:05:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tgea.org\/?p=1498"},"modified":"2025-12-11T14:46:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-11T19:46:13","slug":"december-12-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tgea.org\/?p=1498","title":{"rendered":"Winter Potluck December 12, 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- <strong>Transgender Education Association (TGEA), in coordination with MCC NoVA, are pleased to announce that this month's Second Friday Community Building Group Meeting will be an in-person monthly meeting format on Friday, Dec 12th from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.<\/strong>\nGroup Gathering provided by <strong>TGEA<\/strong>, in coordination with <strong>MCC of Northern Virginia<\/strong>\naka\nMCC NoVA - the \ufeffFairfax City LGBTIQQ+ Community Center \nMCC NoVA, 10383 Democracy Ln, Fairfax, VA 22030. --><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2025WinterPotluck.jpg\"><br \/>\n<strong>On Friday December 12th, TGEA will be hosting our Winter Potluck as part of Second Friday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We encourage folks to bring their dish of choice, as well as a list of allergens, gluten, and other dietary notes for attendees. Plates, napkins, and utensils will be provided, but please bring any serving utensils for your dish.<\/p>\n<p>There will also be some catered food provided.\ufeff<br \/>\nDoors will be open at 6:45 PM.<\/p>\n<p>Hope to see you then! <\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><!-- \nWe will feature our open session for<strong> Trans, Gender Non-Binary, Agender, Significant Others, Friends, Family, Allies.\nThere will also be three specific break-out groups:\n&nbsp; * Parents\n&nbsp; * Teens \n&nbsp; * Transmasculine and \ufeffAFAB Nonbinary<\/strong>\n\nMasks are optional.\n\nWe are grateful that we can continue to open our doors for our community once more!\nWe look forward to seeing everyone!\n<strong> In these challenging times we will be taking some additional security steps.<\/strong> \nThe Second Friday facilitators will be monitoring the facility entrance.\nPrior to the start of the meeting, we will have folks at the entry door.\nAfter the gathering begins, \ufefflate arrivals will be provided a phone number to call or text for entry.\n\n<hr>\n\n\n--><\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/BoardGames.jpg\"><br \/>\nTGEA Social: Board Games! (TGEA) was established to bring together the varied segments of the local gender community into a nurturing and supportive network.
