Transgender Education Association (TGEA), in coordination with MCC NoVA, are pleased to announce that this month’s Second Friday Community Building Group Meeting will be an in-person monthly meeting format on Friday, April 10th from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.<\/strong>
\nGroup Gathering provided by TGEA<\/strong>, in coordination with MCC of Northern Virginia<\/strong>
\naka
\nMCC NoVA – the \ufeffFairfax City LGBTIQQ+ Community Center
\nMCC NoVA, 10383 Democracy Ln, Fairfax, VA 22030.<\/p>\n

We will feature our open session for Trans, Gender Non-Binary, Agender, Significant Others, Friends, Family, Allies.
\nThere will also be three specific break-out groups:
\n  * Parents
\n  * Teens
\n  * Transmasculine and \ufeffAFAB Nonbinary<\/strong><\/p>\n

Masks are optional.<\/p>\n

We are grateful that we can continue to open our doors for our community once more!
\nWe look forward to seeing everyone!
\n In these challenging times we will be taking some additional security steps.<\/strong>
\nThe Second Friday facilitators will be monitoring the facility entrance.
\nPrior to the start of the meeting, we will have folks at the entry door.
\nAfter the gathering begins, \ufefflate arrivals will be provided a phone number to call or text for entry.<\/p>\n

FAIRFAX CITY PROCLAIMED
\nMARCH 31 TRANSGENDER DAY OF VISIBILITY <\/strong>
\nOn March 24 at 7 PM at the Fairfax City Hall (10445 Armstrong Street)
\nFairfax City presented a Proclamation Declaring March 31 Transgender Day of Visibility.<\/p>\n

\nThe Transgender Education Association of Greater Washington, D.C. (TGEA) was established to bring together the varied segments of the local gender community into a nurturing and supportive network.
